Tina is certified to teach by Dance Masters of America and is an active member of Chapter #34. She is starting her 21st year in Sheldon and 20th year in Le Mars. She began dancing at the age of two and a half at her mother's studio, Jean's Dance Studio. She began teaching at the age of fifteen in Perry, Iowa and moved to Le Mars in 1978 after working a summer at Adventureland as a dancer.
Since opening her studios in Le Mars and Sheldon her students have won many awards and recognitions in Northwest Iowa. Three of her students have Represented Chapter#34 at the National Miss Dance Pageant and one in the Teen Miss Pageant. Several Students have received the Miss Dance of Rivercade Title as well as placing in the top ten in Showbiz Competitions and runner-ups to Miss Showbiz, and Teen Miss at ADA. Her groups and lines have won several top honors as well as high point in Minneapolis at LA Dance force and at Rivercade in Sioux City.
